"Exceptional care"

About: Maternity care / Delivery suite / MLU Maternity care / Maternity Ward

(as the patient),

I recently gave birth to twin girls via elective C Section in DHH. I cannot thank the staff in Daisy Hill enough for their exceptional care from the moment we walked onto the Maternity Ward until we left again.

A huge thank you to the theatre team who took such good care of me and the girls. To the wonderful surgeons, anaesthetists Christine and Dominique, support staff and not forgetting the fantastic midwives Shivaun, Christine and Izzy.

Back on the ward we were cared for so well day and night. A particular mention to midwife Donna who couldn’t have done enough for us. The level of care and support Donna provided to us was second to none and I will never forget her kindness during our stay in DHH. Also a special thanks to midwives Claire, Mavis, Joan, Sinead, Rebecca and student midwife Katie.

A fantastic ward filled with fantastic ladies who go above and beyond in their jobs. Thank you so much everyone.

Dear Twin25,

Firstly can we take the opportunity to again say a big congratulations on the birth of your girls.

We really appreciate you giving us the lovely feedback as we know that life in your house must be busy at present.

As one of the delivery suite sisters I am happy to hear in particular you mention the level of care you recieved during your Caesarean birth and you have mentioned our Surgeons, anaesthetists Christine and Dominique, support staff and midwives, Shivaun, Christine and Izzy. They are indeed all dedicated and amazing staff and we will pass on these kind words.

I could not agree more that our Maternity Ward is fantastic and filled with fantastic staff who go above and beyond in their jobs. I will share your feedback with our team on Maternity Ward, in particular Donna, Claire, Mavis, Joan, Sinead, Rebecca and student midwife Katie.
