About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Orthopaedic Ward B23

(as a service user),

After surgery for a hip fracture I spent 2 weeks in ward B23 at Forth Valley Royal Hospital where the nursing staff and ward staff are caring for elderly patients who often have serious medical conditions as well as their post-operative needs. It was so much valued when staff including nurses Sylvana, Darrio, student nurses Lisa, Adrienne and Caroline and the Health Care Assistants Alison and Audrey managed to take time to show their compassion and encouragement despite the many demands on them. Their dedication is greatly appreciated.

Good afternoon Tumbler,

I am sorry to read that you fractured your hip. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, it is wonderful to hear about your positive experience and the compassionate care you received while you were on the ward. I will share this feedback with Sylvanna, Dario, Lisa, Adrienne, Caroline, Alison and Audrey along with the Senior Nursing Team for B23 I am sure they will all also be grateful to receive this.

I hope you are doing well with your recovery,

Take care,

Alex
