"Son broke his arm"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Accident & Emergency Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Imaging (Xrays and Scans)

(as a parent/guardian),

We recently attended the RHC to A&E with our son who had unfortunately had a fall at childcare. I genuinely cannot praise the staff or A&E enough!

It was quick, efficient and all the staff were so friendly, knowledgeable and just honestly brilliant.

We got triaged through to majors where we were greeted by a doctor, Livvy, who was just lovely, beautiful personality and made my son feel at ease with her lovely, caring and passionate way.

The girls in X-ray were great too at taking those snaps fast and were really friendly too.

Livvy then showed us the X-rays and explained it all to us involving both my husband and I as well as our son which just made my heart happy to see someone so suited to their role.

The two Lindsays in the plaster room, very knowledgeable, friendly and put my son at total ease whilst applying his back slab.

I cannot fault this seamless, collaborative and person-centred care. We were in and out in around 1 hour. Everyone we met was an absolute credit to NHS GGC and we are very thankful to you all.
