I recently had an urology surgery procedure carried out. The consultation and pre-op assessment went well the staff were friendly, nice and professional.
On the day of the operation, the reception team, nurses in the ward, nurses in recovery were all professional. The operation team were also professional and included me in the chat.
I was pretty nervous as I was meant to get a general anaesthetic but was really nervous and was thinking about the local anaesthetic. The consultant and anaesthesia took their time with me and explained everything to me which made me choose local anaesthetic. They were happy and spoke to me at ease.
I can’t fault the care I received from urology and day surgery, they do a good job.
