It was my first day where I felt weird and felt different in myself next thing I know I get faint and asked to go to the toilet I went and saw blood coming through my school trousers.
I was worried so went to the school medical room and explained they told me to go to the toilet and see if I was bleeding and I was they then told me it was normal and it was called a period which I knew they existed but didn’t know that I would get it this soon. They said I needed a pad or a tampon and asked if I knew how to use them which I didn’t so school left the room and brought back some pads and some underwear and showed me how to use them I then went into the toilet and put it on and cleaned up.
I was really scared at first didnt have a clue what I was doing but knew I had support there at the beginning it is scary but with people around to talk to you and help you understand it gets less scary and it eventually becomes the norm periods may look scary at first but they do become less scary the more you understand
"First period"
