"Receiving care for breast cancer"

About: East Kilbride Locality Support Service / Treatment Room (East Kilbride)

(as the patient),

I recently had to go and have my picc line flushed and bloods taken.

I was seen by Stacey, who was to change my dressings, flush out my picc line, and take bloods ready for my next round of chemotherapy.

Stacey made me feel calm and valued both as a patient but also as a person.

She was very efficient and gentle with taking off the dressing  and cleaning my line.

Stacey was also very easy to talk about my treatment and how I was feeling about it all.

Stacey also booked my appointment for the next 3 weeks and gave me some phone numbers that I may need at some point.

So I want to say thank you very much to Stacey for making my treatment not so scary
