"Everybody were very kind to me"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Maternity care

(as a service user),

Attended EPAS at Ayrshire maternity unit for a scan as had been for a private scan the day before which showed twins but one had sadly stopped growing. Unfortunately when attended EPAS both babies had then stopped.

The care I received was amazing, the midwives are so compassionate, kind and truly supportive people. I would never have got through it if it wasn’t for them, especially Karen and Julie who were more involved in my care. I was never rushed to make any decisions, they took everything at my pace and truly cannot thank yous enough.

I will never forget the care I received, it was the worst days of my life and each person who cared for me was truly empathetic, kind, caring and compassionate. I don’t know how yous manage to do your job in such a highly emotional place and yous truly deserve recognition for your care.

I will forever be grateful and appreciative of the care I received. Everybody including sonographers and maternity care assistants were very kind to me. God Bless each and everyone of you working in EPAS.

Yous truly are angels in uniform, much love.
