"Child’s Broken Arm"

About: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Accident & Emergency Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Orthopaedics Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

My son broke his arm in July, and was cared for thereafter at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary. He was very well cared for throughout his treatment - from A&E, to the Paediatric Ward, in Theatre (plus reception and recovery) and by all inbetween. The nursing staff in the Children’s Ward really could not have done any better - they put us all at ease, explained each step of his treatment and made a sore (and sometimes grumpy!) boy smile when he was having a tough time. Thank you all!

Dear Itsbr83,

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive feedback with us following your son's operation. I was pleased to read that the care your son received from all staff was of such high quality, and he received excellent care throughout his admission and was well-supported by all staff.

I will be sure to share this feedback with the teams involved with your son's care, as I know they will appreciate your kind words. Thank you again for taking the time to share your invaluable feedback with us.

Kind regards

Jamie
