"I had a small incident and required assistance with potential stiching"

About: Accident & Emergency / Injury Assessment Centre

(as the patient),

I arrived at the hospital and was dealt with by lovely reception staff. I was then seen only 30 mins later by a nurse then was sent to see a doctor. This was all done within the hour and the dr and nurses that I spoke to were so lovely, helpful and understanding. The injury assessment centre is a fantastic initiative and cuts down wait time by a huge amount. I was expecting to be in the waiting room for hours !

Dear shudderet63

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on our injury assessment area. This is a relatively new initiative and it is really good to hear that you had such a good experience. I will ensure that it is fed back to the team.

I hope that you are making a good recovery

Kind regards

Dr Kirsty Tonge- Emergency Medicine Consultant and Co-Clinical Lead
