"Roxburghe House in Aberdeen"

I was given a 12 week course in their day care unit after being very ill in January and losing a lot of my independence. It was suggested by my ARI consultant to help me cope with being put on to palliative care and end of life treatment.

We gather at 10.00am on a Wednesday and go through a 4 hour day programme including physio, relaxation, art and writing.

I cannot overemphasise the positive effect this has given to my life which is otherwise now much more restricted.

The staff and facility are fantastic and this has been a major highlight of my cancer journey. Thanks for all of your understanding and care.
