"wwWhat a change in my life."

About: Physiotherapy Services / Physiotherapy Neurology Outpatients

(as the patient),

I was already a fan of Physios since Katey, the Physio in Perth Hospital transformed me from being immobile into just about mobile, vaguely human being. This was after a Stroke in early 2019.

Then two years ago, after that, I had an operation on the same leg that was left weak two years before, leading to constant and serious pain.

I still walked a lot but still my foot was as useless as an over ripe banana sticking to the end of my leg. Steven at Orthotics, Perth Hospital was fantastic and improved things a lot.

Then in 2024, I found myself in the skilful hands of Caroline and Nicola at Blairgowrie Hospital, I had no doubt this would be a leap forward. I said that I was after exercises which would help me to take full benefit of what Steven had rigged.

Now I can't believe what Caroline and Nicola have done. Much more than what I had dreamed possible. My walking (gait) is improved so much. Steven is rigging something to take account of this improvement. Above all, the constant pain has gone when I am at rest. What a change in my life.
