(as the patient),

My story is about how I struggled with vaping and alcohols misuse and it made my family worried and upset.

First I started vaping at 12 because some other friends  where so I felt like I had to to sort of fit in and then after about 3 months the addiction got worse and I felt like I couldn't go a day without one. Then just after I turned 13 I had a little but of alcohol every now and then, I wasn't pressured/ influenced into that I just thought that I would try it and then some friends started drinking so whenever they had a vape/ alcohol then I had some.

I am Liz the manager of T3, thank you for taking the time to send us your story which I will share with the team.

It is lovely to hear your story as you have shown great reflection and understanding of how your vaping and your use of alcohol became more regular and part of your routines when with your friends. It is good you are able to recognise the influences when you tried vaping and the difference in why you tried alcohol as this will support your choices in the future.

You should feel proud of your motivation to engage in support from the service and to work towards achieving your own goals. I am glad you felt the support was beneficial for you.
