About: Community midwifery care / West Belfast Mater Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I met my midwife in January 2025 and I couldn't of got anyone nicer, Olivia was my continuity midwife from the Mater Hospital and she truly is an amazing person. Every appointment she made me feel I could ask her anything, I could text her whenever I had a question and she was always straight back to me. I really hope next time I have a baby I get Olivia again as I had the most chilled pregnancy thanks to her.

Dear BefC1,

Thank you so much for taking the time to feedback about your experience of having care within the Continuity of Midwifery Care Team (CoMC). I will share your feedback with your named midwife Olivia and the whole CoMC Team.

Olivia is truly an amazing midwife she makes the women within her caseload feel valued, listened to and supported. Olivia really enjoys supporting the women within Continuity and having that reassurance of a named midwife who knows you is such a benefit to women. Building trusting relationships within pregnancy ensures women feel more at ease and able to reach out for support when they need it. Especially when you have a contact number for someone you know.

Once again thank you so much for feedback about your experience of Continuity of Midwifery care and I hope should you choose to use maternity services again you will request to return to the continuity of Midwifery care team
