"Compassionate person centred care"

About: Girvan & Maybole

(as a service user),

We, as a family, want to extend our deepest gratitude for the incredible compassion, professionalism, and dedication that community nurses within Girvan area both district and hospital staff have shown whilst caring for our loved one over the years and during their final days.

Their kindness and gentle approach made an immeasurable difference not only to our loved one but to our entire family during such a difficult time.

The teams provided more than just medical care—you offered dignity, respect, and humanity when it mattered most. From the way you managed their pain and comfort to the thoughtful words and small acts of kindness, every gesture was noticed and deeply appreciated.

It takes special people to do what you do, and we as a family, will never forget the way you looked after our loved one with such empathy and grace. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Please accept our sincere condolences for your loss and thank you again for your genereous words. They will be shared with the entire teams and will serve as a reminder of why we do what we do.
