"Colposcopy Procedure"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

A colposcopy is probably one of the most invasive procedures a lady can have. You already feel very vulnerable and it can be intimidating. I can honestly say that all the ladies I saw today-Ms Rao/Emma/Janet/Miciene? (Apologies if I’ve written that last name incorrectly) and the ladies on reception were welcoming and lovely whilst very professional. I did not feel uncomfortable once or embarrassed. The facility and department was extremely clean and it’s definitely one of the most positive experiences I’ve had at Pilgrim hospital.

Obviously I’d prefer not to be recalled and have any more procedures done however, if I needed to I would like it to be this specific team.

A true credit to the NHS and Pilgrim Hospital.

Dear Impulsive and Compulsive

Thank you for taking the time to leave this lovely feedback, after your recent visit to our department.

We understand it can be an anxious time and we aim to make every woman feel as at ease as possible. I am so pleased that you felt comfortable, this is very important to us.

I will pass the lovely comments onto my colleagues.

Take care,

Emma A
