About: Inverclyde Royal Hospital / Stroke Services (ward 1 Larkfield Unit)

(as a relative),

I’ve found the ward manager on ward 1 Stroke Unit to be rude, nasty and abusive.

I hate going to visit because of the run-in I had with them. There has been no care, empathy or compassion and I don't want them looking after my husband.

It's like pulling teeth trying to get updates. I'm not at all happy with his care, and I have felt ignored by staff.

You could cut the atmosphere with a knife and that is not conducive to a good recovery.
