"Pulmonary rehab classes"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Respiratory medicine

(as the patient),

The. Sessions lasted for six weeks, with speakers from outside the Nhs ,

and those within pulmonary care giving information from every aspect of the lung condition to help with outside help groups.  The information given was very much appreciated by the group and  many of them found out how to use their inhalers properly.

I was very apprehensive at first about attending this course, but need not have been worried as the nurses Amanda and Heather were quickly to put us at ease. The group as a whole were friendly and chatty, and we had a few laughs, but with the laughs came some more serious moments like the exercises, it helped with  mobility, balance and the social side. You  feel better when you know everyone is at a different stage, but all have the same lung diseased as yourself.

I would gladly go on another course in the future. I cannot fault any part of the sessions as they looked to provide the necessary information for the relevant disease.

I can't thank the pulmonary staff enough for their enthusiasm and friendly approach.

Would recommend attending this pulmonary rehab class to anyone suffering from a lung condition.
