"All of the doctors and nurses were so nice to me"

I waited a long time for my hernia repair so was happy when I got the call to say I would be getting it.

I had already met my surgeon Mr Mahmud at the golden jubilee for a consultation and he was a really understanding lovely man.

As soon as I arrived I was greeted by two lovely woman on the reception desk then very quickly taken through to my bed where I was shown where everything was. All my details were taken quickly as well as all my vital checks.

Mr Mahmud came to speak to me before the operation and explained everything. All of the doctors and nurses were so nice to me and couldn’t have been more helpful with anything I needed.

I had some bad experiences before with the NHS when having my children which left me with a bad feeling. However I have told everyone of the care I received this time. Mr Mahmud is the nicest consultant I have ever met and him along with the nurses and doctors that day are a credit to the NHS. Thank you so much.
