"My clinic visit"

I was concerned that my IUD had moved as I was having persistent pain, then getting thrush and water infection symptoms.

I called the team, and they managed to get a same day appointment for that evening. Unfortunately, I was running late for my appointment after work, but I just about made it in time to still be accepted for it (I really appreciated that).

The appointment was done really thoroughly, with care to get as much information as possible during the consultation. I felt like I had been understood, and not dismissed about my concerns.

The examination went perfectly fine. My only feedback would be that the explanation of every step of the examination felt unnecessary when I'd been plenty of times in the last 12 years to know the ins and outs of them. I didn't mind too much though, as I imagined it was procedure to do (regardless of patient experience) and the nurse was probably following a routine.

I have been referred for further investigation due to the persistent pain and pain site.

Overall, I was extremely happy with the experience.
