"I couldn’t have chosen a better set of people to take care of me"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I have had an ovarian abcess for 10 years and until recently this problem was never dealt with properly and I ended up very very ill in pilgrim on ward 1b.

What can I say about this ward? The nurses were amazing! They made me so comfortable and made me laugh on days I cried, made me smile.

The matron in charge she was amazing, she came to see me multiple times to make sure I was on over the 15 days I was in.

They had a plan and they executed it! I was informed every step of the way what was happening.

After so many bad experiences with this problem and my stay at ward 1b, I can honestly say I couldn’t have chosen a better set of people to take care of me.
