"They were a light in these times for me"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I had a missed miscarriage in December 2024. I was under the woman’s hospital in Exeter for a few weeks whilst they were monitoring what was going on and eventually had my missed miscarriage. However, one midwife/nurse there Amy, was a light in these times for me. She led with confidence and knowledge, her compassion shone through, I was sure what she was telling me was the truth, and felt most at ease with her. Having a missed miscarriage was and is still heartbreaking and to this day I cannot thank Amy enough.
