"My recent admittance to DCH with severe back pain"

About: Dorset County Hospital / Accident and emergency Dorset County Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as the patient),

I just wanted to register my appreciation of the care and support, that I received from the paramedics who somehow got me downstairs and into an ambulance, the A&E staff who despite being incredibly busy kept me and my family informed as to what was happening, and the staff on the Purbeck Ward who looked after me until I could be discharged.

I really can't say enough about how professional, caring and supportive everyone was. Thank you. I am now up and mobile less than two weeks from being completely unable to even get out of bed.

Hello

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your feedback about the care you received from our Accident and Emergency team and Purbeck Wards. This is an example of the coordinated care and teamwork that we hope to achieve for all our patients.

We will pass on your lovely comments to the A&E and Purbeck Ward teams and ask that they are shared amongst the staff.

I am pleased to hear that in only 2 weeks you are feeling so much better and hope that you continue to improve at home.

Best wishes

Julia Woodhouse
