"Visit to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital Emergency Dept"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I was sent by my GP to the RD and E hospital emergency dept. due to unexplained chest pain. Fortunately, after various tests, it was established it was nothing to worry about. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that I saw or treated me. From the reception team, to nursing staff and medics - everyone was very professional, caring and calming. I had a bit of a wait but was regularly kept up to date with what was happening and treated with respect and kindness. Thank you to all the team.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful message. We're very glad to hear that your experience at the RD&E Emergency Department was a positive one during what must have been a worrying time.

We truly appreciate your recognition of their hard work and commitment to patient care, your kind words will be shared with the team and will mean a great deal to them.

Wishing you continued good health.
