I attended the day case unit in Dr Grays early July to have my gallbladder removed. I suffered a few post op complications which meant I then had to be moved to Ward 5 for an overnight stay as well.
All staff involved in my care were fabulous, particularly nurse Di in day case, and nurse Stewart in Ward 5, who provided friendly, reassuring care to me and made sure I was as comfortable as could be, despite the pain and vomiting I was suffering.
As a health care professional myself, I knew they were all extremely busy behind the scenes, but always made me feel well supported.
All staff at Dr Grays are a credit to the NHS and much appreciated.
