"My care and procedure"

About: Royal Victoria Hospital / Day Procedure Unit

(as the patient),

I was feeling very very anxious about my procedure but the lady at reception was very sympathetic and understood that I wasn't feeling great. Then the nurse who called me in for checks before my procedure was again very calming and reassuring, she was lovely. Then when I saw the Doctor he was also really nice and reassuring.

Once in for my procedure all the ladies present were great and lovely and reassuring they all made an unpleasant procedure pleasant. Again in the recovery room the lady was very helpful in showing me about the my care app and made me a lovely cup of tea and toast.

All in all my experiences at the Royal Victoria hospital Belfast was a great one even though it was a horrendous procedure.

Good afternoon Serenity41M,

Thank you very much for taking the time to send RVH Endoscopy such positive feedback.

The team here are very caring and compassionate, they always try their best to support every patient on an individual basis so it is lovely to hear when we get things right. It is always daunting coming into hospital for a procedure but it is lovely to hear the team eased your anxieties at every part of your journey through Endoscopy.

Tea and toast I am sure was the best part!!

Thank you again for taking the time.

I wish you all the best for the future.

KR

Clare
