About: Adult Mental Health Community / City North Local Mental Health Team (LMHT)

(as a service user),

As a patient under the mental health team I rang for help, and was told by the duty worker to ring Samaritans. What has happened to mental health services? Utter lack of care.

Thankyou so much for your feedback, we appreciate the input and use this to train and improve our services. Our duty line is a mainline for patients with urgent clinical enquiries and our team work hard to ensure patients are signposted to appropriate support. I am sorry that on this occasion it did not feel this way, I hope we can do better for you next time.

Sadly it’s not the first time I’ve had a similar type of experience. It will be the last though because I will never try to seek help from your services again. I’m not sure why I’m even on your books. My health is deteriorating but at least I know not to ask for help.
