Spent over a week in hospital after PPROM (Preterm Prelabour Rupture of Membranes) and multiple episodes of bleeding, which in the end caused me to labour at 21+6 weeks. The staff during that time were absolutely lovely and positive during my stay except from one of the consultants who made an already traumatic time even harder before it needed to be.
I am especially grateful for the two midwives who looked after me during my labour and after the loss of my little boy - Susanne on dayshift and Chloe on the night shift. You ladies showed myself and my partner compassion like I never could have imagined, during the worst hours of our lives you managed to keep your composure and advocate for me and my little boy when everything else seemed so hopeless. I will forever be thankful that God sent you both our way that day.
Thank you so much you are beautiful souls.
