"We are so grateful for the outstanding care provided to our son"

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the staff who cared for our son during our recent visit to A&E.

From the moment we arrived, every member of staff was outstanding - so attentive & compassionate. It was a very worrying time for us as parents, and we felt that our son’s situation was taken seriously and managed with great care and urgency.

Although we can’t recall every individual’s name, we would like to give special mention to Dr Janet McCaul (paediatric orthopaedics). She was without a doubt one of the warmest and most empathetic doctors we have ever met. Her composed, comforting manner and sincere kindness, made an enormous difference to us while we waited anxiously for MRI results. We feel very lucky to have had her time and expertise; She really exceeded our expectations in making us feel comforted and cared for which put us at great ease.

Thank you again to everyone involved for turning a stressful experience into one where we felt truly looked after. We are so grateful for the outstanding care provided to our son.
