"Amazing care"

I visited the Same Day Emergency Care Unit after being referred by my GP and I am so pleased to be able to share just how incredible the entire team was. From the moment I arrived and saw the lovely receptionist Mandy. I was treated with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. Pippa, the trainee ACP, was absolutely fantastic. Compassionate, reassuring, and incredibly thorough. Elena, the staff nurse, made me feel safe, cared for and informed throughout, and Dr. Sidhiki was not only highly knowledgeable but also so kind and attentive in explaining everything clearly and without rushing. The healthcare assistants were also brilliant, every single person I encountered went above and beyond to make what was a really challenging day feel manageable. I wasn’t left for more than 20/30 minutes without an update and was made me feel involved and informed the whole way. 

I was given a full battery of tests, and I truly felt like I was in the best hands every step of the way. The whole team worked seamlessly together with a friendly and human touch that made all the difference.

I left feeling listened to, well-informed, and most importantly, cared for. Thank you so much to this amazing team, you are everything the NHS stands for, and I’m so grateful for the experience you gave me.
