"Nothing short of exceptional"

About: Perth Royal Infirmary / Community Midwifery Unit

(as the patient),

My pregnancy and birth experience at the birthing unit in Perth was nothing short of exceptional. My preferences and needs were listened to and respected throughout, and I was continuously kept well informed with different options explained to me. I felt supported, respected and empowered throughout birth and I believe this gave me the best start with my baby.

My midwife was Robyn and I was supported by student midwife Kate.

The on call midwives at my birth were Moira and Ailsa. All were amazing.

Hello cyclonebt84

Congratulations on the birth of your baby.

We value women centred care, and it is so reassuring to read that you were kept so well informed, supported and empowered throughout your birth. Hearing you describe, how the care you received, helped give you the best start with your baby is really heartwarming.

We will share your kind feedback with Robyn, Ailsa and Moira.
