About: Portsmouth and South East Division / Community Therapies – Havant, Hayling and Waterlooville

(as the patient),

I lost my husband at Christmas 2023 I still struggle with his loss in July 2024 just 5 months later 1 had a stroke and spent 5 weeks in hospital

When I came home the community stroke team came every day to teach me how to stay safe and keep mobile with physio there patience and care from every one in the team I will always be grateful for.

When I was discharged by the team it was thought I would benefit with more physio and was referred to Community Therapy services
How lucky was I when along came Michelle Physiotherapy Technician she visited regularly to do exercises and support me.
I how found it very difficult what has happened in my life and it has had an effect on my mental health with anxiety and depression  Michelle always understood this she was sympathetic, caring and encouraging to do exercises and move me on to do more telling me not to give up.
I will always be grateful for her help and can never thank her enough and the Community Therapy services 🙏
Thank you
