About: New Victoria Hospital / Day surgery New Victoria Hospital / Gynaecology Clinic

(as the patient),

I was apprehensive coming in for surgery as a former nurse myself, but the team from pre op to post op were great.

I felt safe and cared for and the staff couldn’t do enough for me. The hospital was lovely and clean and I’m extremely grateful for the care I received.

Nikki in ward 3 was extremely caring and had a great way of putting me at ease.

As the Lead Nurse for the unit I am particularly delighted that as a former nurse your comments reflected your experience of feeling safe and well cared for by our day surgery team. I will also pass on your very kind words to Nikki in our ward area.
