"You are all real life angels"

I cannot thank the breast radiography team at Queen Margaret hospital enough. From my initial appointment at the clinic, to cancer diagnosis, to follow up checks, the whole team have been absolutely amazing and are a true credit to the NHS. 

Elizabeth, Karen, Emily, Heather, Evelyn, Lisa, Caroline and anyone else I have missed out by accident, you are all real life angels.

I specifically have to call out Elizabeth and Karen who were there with me on the day of my diagnosis and made the worst day that bit easier. My life was falling apart and you both comforted me (there was another nurse here this day who was also amazing, she got my partner a cup of tea and some chocolate as we were both in shock, I’m so sorry I can’t specifically remember your name). Seeing your friendly faces makes a difficult thing so much easier. There isn’t enough words to thank you for what you have done for me. 

Emily and Heather who have done my mammograms are also amazing and remember all the little details which makes my care feel so much more personal and makes me feel comforted in a difficult situation.

I really hope you are all rewarded and recognised as the care you have gave me really is above and beyond. It’s not often you come across a team of people who are all outstanding at their jobs, have genuine care and compassion and are just wonderful. I feel blessed to have been looked after by this amazing team.
