I have recently been discharged alongside my 12 day old baby boy from the midwifery service and I wanted to take the time to express my gratitude to everyone involved in my care from the start of my pregnancy til now. I was under the care of the Glasgow South community midwife team and the Princess Royal Maternity Hospital team.
My community midwife, Lauren, has been fantastic throughout, very knowledgable, friendly and made me feel at ease at every appointment. The team of sonographers and clinic midwives at PRMH were lovely and very caring. During a very fast and hectic delivery, my midwife kept me very calm and informed throughout delivery, as well as the doctor who came in to assist after birth, I believe him name was Greg, super friendly and bubbly.
Finally, the midwives who looked after my in Ward 3 at PRMH, particularly overnight as I was out pretty sharp the following day - Joanne and student midwife Michelle - you were both fantastic and are a credit to your profession! Thank you all again, myself and my new baby son have felt very well looked after!
"Well looked after by everyone"
