I rang Kearsley medical centre numerous times as the new system kept ending my calls. I finally got through only to be told do it online. The request was for my father, who's in his 80s quite poorly.
I was explaining to the member of staff I spoke to that he had run out of water tabs (new) and he needs some and it needs to be on his repeats. They kept repeating to do it online and have it delivered. My Dad cannot walk or use technology, this is extremely frustrating and no excuse for the lack of empathy for the older generation.
I was informed by the member of staff that they can order for the older generation, they chose not too! You are quite right, I'm not happy! Your role is to help people, not block access to much needed medical care.
