"Professional, empathetic and efficient"

I attended A&E at the request of my GP. From walking in the doors I was treated with kindness and respect. I was seen quickly and a plan was sorted with my full collaboration. My nurses Holly and Pauline were professional, empathetic and efficient.

I returned the next day to the SDEC unit for a transfusion as arranged by my lovely Dr, Sarah. I was told to arrive at 9am and my blood was up and running by 9.30. Again efficient, knowledgeable staff, Elena and Theresa who were kind and respectful every step of the way. They watched over me diligently and ensured I had a positive experience. They did their best to ensure the next part of my journey was planned before I left.

Thank you to you all. Being a nurse myself I know the pressure you are under and none of that was visible to the patient!
