My baby girl was admitted to the children’s ward at DGRI following a GP appointment. From start to finish the care and attention we received was second to none!

Observations checked straight away and a very caring ANP called Sarah took care of my daughter, very thorough investigations to get to the bottom of what was making my daughter ill.

Communication was amazing, kept up to date at all times. Results back when they said they would be.

As a breastfeeding mother, I was even given dinner to ensure I could still feed my baby, which just added to the excellent care we received.

Thankfully my daughter did not need to stay in hospital and her discharge was prompt and efficient. I am very grateful for the care we received.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I am so pleased to hear that the care and attention you received from the children's ward in DGRI was second to none!

I am glad that Sarah the ANP was caring, thorough and able to investigate what was making your daughter ill, whilst keeping you well informed. It is satisfying to know that the excellent care was shown not only to your daughter as the patient, but extended to you too.

So good also to hear that your daughter did not need to stay in hospital and I hope she continues to keep well.

I will be sure to pass on your kind and appreciative words to Sarah and the team within the children's ward.
