I recently gave birth to my daughter and ended up having to stay in hospital for 4 days. The midwife Romy and the student midwife Mishca that were with us throughout labour were absolutely fantastic, they were so attentive, encouraging and caring.
When the decision was made I needed to go to theatre for a forceps delivery, they explained everything that was going to happen in detail to my partner and I.
Romy didn't leave my side the whole time I was in theatre and kept me calm while my partner couldn't come in.
Once baby and I were moved down to the ward for recovery, Christine was absolutely amazing with me and baby.
All of the staff were amazing but these 3 ladies were super supportive during this experience.
