"Helpful, approachable, efficient staff"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Cardiology & Coronary Care Unit Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance Victoria Hospital / Cardiology

(as a relative),

My husband was admitted to ward 21 Victoria hospital in Kirkcaldy with heart attack  after attending Dunfermline hospital.

Just want to say how impressed that we were with the care my husband received. Everyone was so welcoming, helpful and pleasant. From 1st attending hospital. ambulance staff. Reception staff. Nurses. Ancillary staff and doctors.

We were so grateful that he was kept as inpatient until being transferred to Edinburgh for angiogram and treatment, as angiogram showed very severe issue with 2 main arteries in his heart.

I work as a nurse myself and can't express how much we appreciated how all of the staff treated us. I feel that you should be really proud of your staff and how professional and approachable they all were. I can honestly say that never once did he ever feel that anything was any bother. I am genuinely grateful that he took unwell while working in Kirkcaldy and ended up getting given the care he did instead of being transferred back to Glasgow.

Attention at Edinburgh royal infirmary also gave same high level of care. Again with helpful, approachable, efficient staff.

Thank you all again from all of our family
