"I felt everything was rushed"

I was in for a C-section this week. And for the first part of the journey was great. I was left very much disappointed in the recovery room. I am a new mother and I was pretty much left to do most of the stuff by my self, even though I just had serious surgery.

I felt everything was rushed and other mothers were given more time and explained through things a lot more than I was. I wasn't shown how to feed my baby, I wasn't given any help to change the diapers I wasn't shown a great ordeal. I had to buzz several times for the nurses to give me pain relief as I was really uncomfortable. What was meant to be a magical time turned out to be very disappointing and upsetting.
