"My cat bit my finger"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Accident and emergency North Devon District Hospital / Day Surgery South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / NHS 111

(as the patient),

My cat bit my finger. I rang 111 who told me I needed a F3F to get antibiotics. I was inundated with calls from them, yet no appointment to see dr. I went to A&E, who told me to come back if worse.

It was badly infected I’m a rubbish patient but I was seen in day surgery unit and whilst there most the day they was great. I was back the next day for operation but the bed I was told I had was not available. A bed was found and I had the op everyone was amazing.
