"Amazingly kind and helpful"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

Attended for a Laparoscopic Bilateral Salpingo-Oophorectomy.  The theatre people were very reassuring; the day and evening staff nurses were both particularly special.  All the nursing staff were amazingly kind and helpful - thank you all so much.  Didn't see much of the surgeon but she seems to have done a wonderful job!!

Just one improvement for the management, please!  If you are going to keep people waiting a long time (as I understand that you need to) please could you improve the internet/mobile phone signal?  (Not a new issue, I know, but still annoying!)

Thank you so much for taking time to leave us some feedback, it is really appreciated. I am glad that you felt that the theatre team and ward nurses were kind, helpful and reassuring. I will make sure I pass this on to the teams.

With regard to the WIFI and mobile phone signal, this is unfortunately out of our hands on the ward. I know that this is an ongoing issue and it has already been escalated to the appropriate department. I can completely understand your frustration however and hopefully this will be improved for others in the near future.

I hope you are recovering well and thank you again for your lovely comments.

Many thanks,

Louise Steventon-Fenn
