"Health anxiety after multi heart attacks and open heart surgery"

About: Adult Psychological Therapies Service / Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

(as the patient),

After I 1st took ill suddenly after all my treatments I felt hopeless, suicidal, scared to leave a 15 min radius of my local hospital incase it happened again.

After my CBT treatment I've learned to manage the anxious thoughts. How to over come the dark issues.

All members of staff I've dealt with have been amazing and patient with me. Covering all the needed topics and helping me learn my triggers and how to control them. Katie has been my guiding light and has dealt with me in the best possible way, going the extra mile to get information about my case and helping me move forward

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience with Katie and the CBT team.

It sounds like you have been committed to and trusted, the therapy process. It is wonderful to hear of the benefit you are receiving from the skills and care received.

I will pass on your comments to Katie and the wider team!

We would like to wish you all the best for the future.

Kind regards,

Sarah Ellerby
