We experienced the very best care from the staff on labour ward and ward 38 North. Our family had a bit of a scary time welcoming our little boy to this world, which resulted in a 5day stay in hospital. We cannot fault the care and kindness we received from the staff and this had such a positive impact on our whole experience. We will forever recall this kindness when reminiscing on our experience.
We would like to give a special shout out to Dr Salje, who bought our beautiful baby boy safely into this world. Dr Matthews, who took excellent care of me during the operation. Midwife Marcy, who looked after us all so well leading up to and in the first hours after his birth. We would like to give a massive thank you to all the staff on ward 38, but especially the following members who had a significant impact on our experience. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know you all and cannot thank you enough for taking such amazing care of us, reassuring us, helping to calm all of our worries, answering our endless questions, supporting us with breast feeding, nappy changing and with giving baby and his first bath. You are all a credit to your profession and the NHS.
