Want to first of all say every member of staff I came across were fantastic. 

I feel the waiting room was really stuffy making it difficult to sit in and there is no water available - a water dispenser would be great. 

I would say the majority of announcements over the tannoy you could not make out who was being called. People around me were also commenting that they couldn't understand the announcements also. Would appreciate a screen which also displays your name or a number system like used in maternity for clarity.

Good afternoon statusgn53,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience in the emergency department. I am delighted to hear that the staff were fantastic and I will share this with the nursing team.

We have had estates involvement this week as we are aware the waiting room is very hot and stuffy. The vents were cleaned however it does not seem to have improved this so I am awaiting to hear of a plan to solve this.

We have a waiting room nurse who is able to provide water to anyone who needs it at any time. There is also a vending machine in the main foyer.

The tannoy announcements seem to be clear today however I will monitor this. We dont have the facilities to display names or numbers on a screen however I will ensure to monitor the tannoy system and ensure staff communicate clearly.
