"Smoking on hospital grounds"

I have no complaint about the care received or the staff who cared for me, however the entrance to the hospital from the mental health ward end (next to WRVS) was disgusting.  Cigarettes butts and packets all over the ground right next to the entrance door.  Also people standing right at the entrance smoking, therefore patients, staff all having to walk through a cloud of smoke before entering. It's absolutely disgusting and very unhygienic, unprofessional and unhealthy. I believe it is patients who are in hospital who are using this area to smoke.  This needs to be addressed, other entrances are also affected.
