I am writing to raise a complaint regarding the unacceptable experience I had at your hospital following my miscarriage.
After I sadly experienced a miscarriage, a doctor kindly booked me in for a follow-up examination at 1:00 PM. I arrived early, as advised, only to be left waiting for over two hours without being seen. During this time, I was in severe pain and continued to bleed heavily. To make matters worse, I received an automated message inviting me to provide feedback on my appointment before I had even been seen — implying that my appointment had been marked as completed without any consultation actually taking place.
While I waited in distress, I saw patients who arrived later than I did being called in ahead of me. I felt neglected and humiliated, having to sit there in physical and emotional agony, unsure when or if I would receive care. If it was not possible to see me at the scheduled time, I should not have been asked to come early, especially under such vulnerable circumstances.
This experience was not only distressing, but deeply disappointing given the sensitivity and urgency of the situation. I expect a full explanation of why I was left waiting so long, why my appointment was marked as completed prematurely, and what steps will be taken to ensure this does not happen to other women going through the same trauma
"Endless waiting even with an appointment"
