I can't hardly put into words how excellent my maternity and postpartum care has been.
I was in the MAU twice before labour for various reasons and the staff could not have been kinder both on the phone and in hospital, never making me feel silly for going to get checked!
When I was in (very fast!) labour, the midwives in the MAU didn't hesitate to believe me (not my experience with a previous birth in a different area) and did there utmost to keep me comfortable and prepare a room for me.
The stars of the show, Mira and Kate, were the dream delivery team during a very fast and furious labour, they were so kind, caring and incredibly good at their jobs. I felt so safe during a scary time.
The post natal wards always has its challenges with shared wards/noise etc, but every single staff member I dealt with was kind and efficient, really felt like nothing was too big an ask for them.
