"Incompetence"

About: Penn Manor Medical Practice

I have tried 3 times unsuccessfully, including 2 visits to the surgery, to make an appointment via the triage system.

The mobile number which comes up as held for me on the RWT database is my current one but, I have discovered that, the practice has been sending me appointments through an out-of-date number held by themselves. One of the doctors queried what was happening and asked that action be taken by admin - but nothing was done, despite them also having our home phone number and my email address.

No doubt this will count as 3 patient no-shows, while I have been anxiously waiting to hear from them. Why has it not been checked that they are using the correct mobile number? Did no-one notice that it differed from the RWT one? This tells me that the practice is putting ticking outcome boxes before actual patient experience.

Apart from a few years at university, I have belonged to this practice since I was born in 1948. I am sorry to say that I intend to leave, and it is a poor reflection on them.
