I underwent a double hip operation at NTC-Orthopaedic Centre at Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy recently and from start to finish I cannot praise highly enough or thank all of the medical staff enough for their dedicated care and attention. 24 hours of the day, nothing was any trouble for them and they always made me feel valued no matter what I required.
I really trusted them with all of my care and I enjoyed their company, they were always willing to answer any of my questions and bell rings and I was especially grateful to them for helping me during the night when nature called and they understood my worries about using the bedpan which in the end I was really grateful to have the use of.
The nurses were amazing to do the work they do especially when often they were understaffed and also had to deal with a smoke alarm emergency due to burning toast which meant they had to move all the beds to other rooms to clear up the smoke during their usual busy schedules. All the nurses, auxiliaries, doctors, consultants, surgeons, physios and housekeepers made my stay in hospital a very positive experience and although I wouldn’t want to do it again they have made a fearful situation less so and again I cannot thank them enough, thank you, thank you, thank you all.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you all"
